Project summary
Stream-Punk will build and scale an EU-made interactive livestream overlay and analytics toolkit that helps independent European game studios and SMEs reach players through Twitch, YouTube Live and games events. We are the “back-channel” for livestreams: turning a one-way broadcast (brand/streamer → audience) into a real-time conversation (brand/streamer ↔ audience) by integrating chat, hashtags, comments and mentions. Audience actions instantly power on-stream engagement magnets like hype meters, polls, mini-games and quizzes, so viewers can participate with a simple hashtag, comment or by tagging friends.
Target countries are Germany, the Netherlands and France (first pilots completed), followed by Poland and Spain, then Sweden and Finland, and finally Romania and Serbia.
Objectives are to improve discoverability for EU indie games in an overcrowded release environment, cut the cost and complexity of cross-border creator-led marketing for small teams and strengthen EU competitiveness by giving studios practical marketing and analytic tools that are otherwise mostly accessible to large, non-EU players. We address EU-specific barriers: fragmented markets and languages, limited SME marketing capacity, uneven market maturity, and weak access to measurable, repeatable creator promotion.
Over 36 months we will co-design with EU studios, agencies and event organisers; deliver plug-and-play overlay templates for launches and showcases, implement automated analytics and reporting and introduce Streamer Tools plus a KPI-driven Marketplace to match studios with suitable creators and enable “campaign-in-a-box” execution with transparent outcomes. Cross-border pilots will validate the approach and feed into reusable playbooks and onboarding materials. The action supports Creative Europe MEDIA Innovative Tools and Business Models by improving SME market access and cross-border reach in the European games sector.
